Signature witnessing, acknowledgments, and jurats
Most people who get in touch already know what needs notarizing, because someone or something told them so. What is less obvious is whether the document is set up the way it needs to be: whether it calls for an acknowledgment or a jurat, whether it needs witnesses you have to arrange yourself, and what has to stay unsigned until we arrive. Text us what you have and we will tell you what to expect and what it will cost. There is no charge for the answer.
Estate and family documents
Wills, living trusts, durable and medical powers of attorney, advance directives, guardianship and conservatorship forms.
Business and legal
Contracts, corporate resolutions, vendor agreements, affidavits, depositions, and I-9 employment verification.
Hospital and care facility visits
We come to hospital rooms and care facilities across the area, including Foothills in Boulder and Good Samaritan in Lafayette, plus assisted living and senior living communities.
What we do not do
We do general notary work. Mortgage loan signing packages, apostilles through the Colorado Secretary of State, and remote online notarization each take a different commission or a different process, and we do not offer them yet. Today a specialist will get you through those faster.
There are also limits set by law rather than by us. A Colorado notary cannot give legal advice or tell you which document to use, cannot serve as a witness on a document they are notarizing, and cannot certify copies of vital records such as birth or marriage certificates. Those come from the agency that issued them.

Notarization is $15 per document, however many signatures and signers it involves. A will with notary sections for two different people is one document. So is a trust carrying three separate notarial certificates. You get the total before we drive out.
Travel starts at $50. Most of our service area comes in at that base and longer trips cost more, so we work out the exact number for your address and get your approval before anyone gets in a car. Colorado requires a notary to itemize travel separately, disclose every charge before the act, and put the fees in writing. Quoting first covers all three.
There is no evening rate, no weekend rate, and no same-day surcharge. We take cash, all major credit cards, Venmo, and checks.

Three things worth knowing
Can a notary come to my house?
Yes. That is the entire service. Homes, offices, hospital rooms, care facilities, and public places all work.
What do I need to bring?
Unexpired government photo ID and the document itself, unsigned. Signing before the notary arrives is the most common reason an appointment has to be redone.
How much does a notary cost in Colorado?
We charge $15 per document, however many signatures and signers it involves. Travel is separate and starts at $50, quoted and approved before anyone drives. Evenings and weekends cost no extra.
